   昭和62年 京都市工業試験場窯業専攻科修了

1965  Born in Gojozaka, Kyoto.
1988  Graduated from Kyoto City Industrial Research Institute, Ceramics Department.
     Studied under his father, KIMURA Morinobu
1990  Selected for the Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition.
1991  Selected for the Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition.
1992  Built his own kiln in Shiga prefecture.
1995  Selected for the Japan Ceramic Exhibition
1996  Exhibited at “Hourai-kai” by SHIMIZU Uichi.
1997  Selected for the Japan Traditional Kogei Exhibition.
1998  Held a special exhibition with his father (KIMURA Morinobu) and brothers in Sogo (one of the major department stores in Japan).
1999  Accepted as a full member of Japan Kogei Association.
2000  Won a prize in competition at the second “Contemporary Tea Pottery”. Since then, he started having solo exhibitions at Mitsukoshi (one of the major department stores in Japan).
2001  Joined a special exhibition called CRIA presented by Kyoto Art Center.
2003  Solo exhibition at Shibuya Kurodatoen. He had held solo exhibitions several times since then.
